What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Alongside cookies, sites can use "local storage", which works similarly but is never sent to the server. Both are used to remember preferences and make a site work.

Our approach

We use two categories of storage:

  • Essential and functional - strictly needed to make the site work and remember small preferences (your minigame progress, your homepage sort/filter choice, and your cookie-banner decision). These are always used.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4) - help us understand how the site is used in aggregate: page views, session length, device type and rough geographic region. These are only loaded if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Reject (or ignore the banner), Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

We do not set advertising cookies and we do not share data with third-party ad networks.

Cookies and storage we use

Changing your choice

You can change your analytics choice at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer, then Accept or Reject. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser's settings at any time; doing so just resets these preferences.
